How the Process Works

Cow dung and dairy washings are fed into our anaerobic digester tanks, where naturally occurring bacteria break down the organic matter in the absence of oxygen. This biological process — called anaerobic digestion — produces biogas (primarily methane) and a liquid digestate (bio-slurry). The biogas is collected, purified, and used directly as fuel for boilers, generators, or cooking, while the bio-slurry is a premium organic fertilizer for farmland.
